- BACKBOARD: 72" X 42" NBA regulation, 1/2" thick tempered glass. If you want a true rebound don't buy a 72" system with a 3/8" thick glass backboard, you will be disapointed. 3/8" thick glass is fine for 60" or smaller backboards but is too thin for 72" backboards. The NBA, NCAA and High Schools all require 1/2" glass for regulation play. The backboard has a lifetime warranty against breakage during dunking because the rim is bolted directly to the pole system and not to the backboard. You don't have to worry if someone hangs on the rim. Dura-Skin backboard padding is included.
- POLE: ONE PIECE 6" x 6", massive 7 gauge square steel pole includes your choice of a direct bury pole or a bolt down pole (select above). The direct bury pole is designed for solid, permanent installation and the bolt down pole is designed to allow easy removal if you move and want to take your hoop with you (the required ground anchor-bolt kit is included with the bolt down pole). Only Bison offers the solid direct bury option on high-end basketball systems.

- FIXED HEIGHT ARM: 60" of Extension from the pole. With this much extension the pole is completely out of the area of play behind the rim. The arm is made with the same 6" X 6" square steel as used on the pole for a very solid feel. This arm has the cleanest look in the industry with a huge amount of backboard extension. The fixed height design also allows for the hoop to be installed very close to fences, retaining walls or property lines.
